Well, I'm not a girl, but I highly relate to these. Let's go back in time to the mid-00's internet and the fandom culture. For better or worse, it was way too different to now days, especially about our relationship with said media, aka some stuff that was normalized or not taken seriously back then. But one of...at least in the most innocent way is how people were. 't that strict with Canon; yes, there were ship wars and disagreements, but “don't like?? DONT SEE" rule was taken into mind, so people were free to come up with unlikely dynamics only for fun.

Here is when comes a thought When I was a teenager, yeah, I did like Fry/Leela as the next person in this room and even considered certain robots, but it didn't last. Then, yeah, since I can remember, I was drawn to "himbos," "jerks," "guys with a lot of confidence, and especially Zapp. I liked some of his traits (please see this section if you want to see my interpretation of him), and since I liked Fry as well, why not?? But that why not or “I do it for the lulz, stereotypical yaoi stuff lmao” thought...went deeper to that, especially with the open ending that “The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" gave us, and thinking we might not get more Futurama, people decided to make their own endings and fanfiction, then I asked to myself, “What if she said no?” What might Fry do?? Who could give him a hand? Well, we already know the answer in 2024, but in 2007-08 (it were the years I started to get more artsy and discovered online communities; lets gonna tell my story with the show is a very long one, but it isn't today's topic ) were some uncertain years for the fandom.

I started to come up with my drawings and some thoughts online; sadly, my English skills weren't the best, so...a lot of stuff I wanted to say and I wasn't able to; all I was able to do is draw, draw, draw, and see if someone gets the hint!

Luckily I made some friendships, and with the movies arriving there were more adventures, but...already I was fixed with this unusual ship, so me making up possible scenarios was sometimes more fun to do, and I also came up with my own “what if” scenarios as Farnsworth did once! But now with the fourth movie.

With the arrival of a proper new season...new possible scenarios, and wow 6A was pretty much average but still enjoyable because I did meet someone really special to me, but also...we are talking about 2010...things started to change with the social media and proper globalization, as...gotta be direct, now I had to face some unwanted anons, I mean it wasn't new to me...but this time for some reason did “hurt” more or ..just it was very discouragin...especially considering around these years I started college and that led to some personal issues...how was it possible that something so harmless caused a lot of mayhem?? something that did help me distract my mind and cope..yeah, I didn't get it...But in June of 2011...Neutopia happened!

I know, and I'm 100% aware this episode aged like the milk (especially considering this admin doesn't belong to the gender binary; my thoughts about the episode can be read here). But...something changed on me—finally some “solid” proof the ship I was rooting for all these years was possible! in canon?! (like that Regular Show scene with Muscle Man yipping “It's the Hammer! It's real!”) ...but you see the fandom and...-crickets sounds—for some reason, even if indeed, I did meet some amazing people online who happened to enjoy Frapp. Anyways, finding stuff on a regular basis is difficult.

Social media can be a blessing or a curse; these were some mixed signals... especially with Season 7, man, I loved 6B. My disappointment with what was next really was big, but there were several reasons why I decided to leave the fandom in the 2016... A lot of stuff happened after this year: it started a huge internal fight with mental health, I discovered a lot about my own identity, I got a new job and more labor chances, I got into art cons, I got into a wonderful relationship, I got very into Jojo's... that actually is my favorite piece of media ever, but.. .this isn't a Jojo's fansite.

You're right Even if my terms with the show and the community were complicated, I never stopped to adore this ship and Zapp. A lot of stuff I do like in media is heavily inspired, or you can spot the parallelisms, some occasional art... trying to spark the match, but... yeah, it needed a lot of fuel apparently. I started to feel, “DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING IN THIS HOUSE?""?!” ...you know, feeling discouraged.

So with the Hulurama was currently going, yeah, I gave it a chance, and...thank you so much, “Related to Items You've Viewed,” for giving me “the feels.It was like seeing the old me who watched Neutopia or did spend evenings doodling stuff to eventually post it on DeviantART. Yeah, it was just a lamp, but...what is wrong with small things?? Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.

Now with better maturing and skills (communication and artistic)...I can make these great things happen, or at least try them...so this site is a culmination of all these thoughts, scenarios, scenarios and fun about a “silly crack ship” that ended meaning a lot to me. Thanks to Frapp, I discovered I like to explain stuff, I like to make my own art and crafts, and man, I enjoy the process a lot. I hope you have fun and find this somewhat interesting.
